Nelly: He is such a perfectionist--and he is not happy with the way things are going now--so watch him take control of all aspects of his career in 2003. He is going to collaborate with some big wigs, too, and this is going to pay off big time in early 2004. He’s got awards and kudos all over the place and will be seen in a different light.

Britney Spears:  She doesn’t want to be a child anymore and she is making sure everyone knows this.  I see her working with younger people in 2003--some up and coming new teen stars. I also see her entertaining our troops. Watch her love life: She has been dating Nick Carter, and they do get along, I just don’t see it getting past the dating stage.  I see her with an older guy in the summer time; grungy, independent, writer, actor, director--it’ll shock everyone.

Ja Rule: He is such a good guy; I see him starting his own foundation to help kids from his hometown. In the beginning of the year he’ll be busy touring.  I see him directing his music videos and producing his own music--he’s very creative and talented behind the scenes.

NSync: This is not going to be a great year for NSync, I see legal battles for these guys in 2003. One of the members seems to be turning sour on the group.   I see a salacious unauthorized tell-all book and one of the guys may be leaving before the end of the year is up. I see a replacement at the end of 2003 or early 2004.

Destiny’s Child: I see these chicks becoming spokes-persons for some hip, cool products in the coming year. I also see them working with some underprivileged teens in Texas (they’re very nice!). There will be gossip this year that they are fighting or breaking up because of all the independent work they’ll be doing this year, but by the end of the year everything will be fine--a united front.

J.Lo:  I see her having some surgery in 2003.  She’s got a rocking year ahead.  In March she’ll be all over the place; publicity, publicity, publicity!  She’s got a great relationship with Ben, but it’s soooo hot and heavy, can it survive a burn out when the flames are low? It’ll definitely get through this year, which is longer than the others, so I deem it successful (for now!).

Eminem:  He starts the year on a creative high!  I see him all over the place, including the awards shows at the beginning of the year--plus, I wouldn’t be surprised if that sound track to 8 Mile wins some of those awards.  Look for a softer, gentler Eminem in ‘03; he’s a teeny bit more contemplative and introspective this year.

Kelly Clarkson:  She has big ups and downs this year; there are too many cooks in the kitchen. She’s got to learn to make her own career decisions fast.  She’s getting an offer to co-host a special show around new years. Around February, there’s more music from her, but look for contract disputes.

Christina Aguilera:  She’s either being dumped or doing the dumping right before new years 2003; oh the drama. She’s got a new male producer coming soon to give her a new sound.  I see her singing a duet with another big pop artist mid-year. She’s got a big film project coming out end of summer, early fall, and she singing the title song.
